Thus, if the Quran is read with regard to the intellectual reading, such as الرحمان علی العرش استوی and the rest of the other verses, it does not fall under the simple intellect, but rather falls under the contemplative intellect, returning to the intellectual perception termed the "secondary rational perception," and that Allah is not occupied by a place and is not subject to localization, due to the impossibility of corporeality in His Essence, as He is simple in all aspects; just as there is no meaning to assuming a physical hand in His regard, but rather what is meant by the "hand" is power and absolute dominion, or that the faces looking toward their Lord refers to their looking toward Him as a look seeking compassion and mercy, not the visual sight that is impossible in His regard, Glory be to Him. In light of that, my beginning in writing the interpretation was with a traditional methodology in the year 1989, then I had another attempt at understanding the Quran through a modern methodology, not like that which the traditional methodology follows.
2-Narrative Interpretation: In its subject matter, it has adopted the uncovering of Quranic meanings from a clear source, which is the school of the Pure Progeny of the Family of the Messenger, peace be upon him and his family, whom the Verse of Purification includes in His Almighty saying: إنما یرید الله لیذهب عنکم الرجس أهل البیت و یطهرکم تطهیرا [Al-Ahzab:33] This type of narrative interpretation was adopted in the methodology of the author of Al-Burhan, as he collected the narrations issued from the Ahl al-Bayt (as) excluding the Companions, making it an interpretation limited specifically to the narrative style, even if some commentators went towards combining narrative interpretation with semantic interpretation or between narrative interpretation and rational interpretation.
