2 Two delegations participated from Iraq: the first from the party of Saddam's totalitarian regime, headed by Saad Qasim Hamoudi3, editor-in-chief of the newspaper (Al-Thawra), the mouthpiece of the Ba'ath Party, and some officials in the (National Command); and a delegation from the Iraqi Communist Party headed by Zaki Khairi, a member of the Political Bureau, who delivered a long speech that covered half of the fifth page of the aforementioned issue.
For according to the theoretical logic of the mentioned (leader), a regime (like Saddam's totalitarianism) ignites a destructive pirate war using hateful racism, it is assumed to be (capitalist) in which the affairs of economy and politics are led by a (class) of the bourgeoisie, and that this war is a natural result of the Ba'athist regime being a capitalism governed by the (Iraqi bourgeoisie) seeking profits through colonial looting; thus, if it does not expand through the territories of the Islamic Republic, it must expand in all possible directions like any colonial state searching for its (economic vital space).
The aforementioned (Marxist) sayings were applied to point to only half of the truth regarding the (confrontational only) racist justifications accompanying colonial looting wars, and the silence on analyzing the Ba'ath regime (Marxistically) undoubtedly serves a continuous policy of the Soviet Union in dealing with the regimes that have successively ruled Iraq, and the opinion of the (Iraqi communists) constitutes nothing but a role always loyal and always subordinate.
