Popular literature plays an important role in understanding the type of attitudes and cultural norms of ethnic groups in various aspects of life, including environmental issues; Because this type of literature plays an important role not only in institutionalizing these issues, but also in constructing them in any society. Accordingly, in this study, the cultural norms related to the environment in Bakhtiari folk literature are documented and the questions are answered: what is the role of the environment in the formation of Bakhtiari folk literature? And in this literature, what cultural norms (beliefs) about the environment are reflected? The results show that Bakhtiari popular literature is animal-plant literature and in this literature, cultural norms in the field of environment are represented; In order to preserve Nakhjir, factors such as age, sex and hunting time have been considered, and in order to prevent the felling of trees, the issue of their sanctity and their symbol of life has been addressed. Of course, in addition to positive cultural norms, there are some inappropriate beliefs, such as a negative view of some animals, plants and trees, which causes damage to the environment.
