Providing awareness messages in the form of art and environmental graphic media can be one of the effective and different methods for increasing awareness in modern human life. In this research, using field methods, the educational effectiveness of environmental graphics in active learning was investigated with a case study on increasing the general knowledge of elementary school students regarding the environment. The research tool in this study is a questionnaire, and the target statistical population consisted of all female elementary school students in Isfahan city in the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. Additionally, random sampling was used to select the statistical sample, and one of these schools was randomly selected as the target group. In this research, after examining the validity of the questionnaires by educational science experts and university professors, their reliability was examined using the Cronbach's alpha method. A number of graphic constructs along with awareness messages were designed and installed in the studied environment, and to evaluate their effectiveness, questionnaires were completed by 230 students before and after installation. By comparing the results obtained from the pre-test and post-test in the form of a figure, in addition to proving the educational effectiveness of environmental graphics, significant changes were observed; meaning that the students' information level faced an improvement of about forty percent. They also considered this medium more effective in increasing their awareness of the subject than other influencing factors such as books and teachers.
