Religious books aim to present the divine value system to their audience; on the other hand, adolescents and young people are not only involved in the transformations of puberty and the process of identity formation, but they also live in an era where challenging all previous foundations and principles is considered a topic of discussion. Furthermore, the globalized environment confronts young people day by day with diverse, different, and sometimes conflicting values, part of which encourages social deviations. Therefore, in a brief summary, it is expected that religious books, while providing the necessary cognitive knowledge (which explains the principles of living based on divine policies), provide the necessary information regarding life skills and etiquette and assist their audience in distinguishing the right path from the wrong path in individual and social life. Accordingly, in the present research, the content analysis of religious books for the third year of middle school and the third year of high school is considered, with attention to the components of responding to the social needs and the emotional-psychological needs of students. This task was carried out after preparing the necessary categories for the content analysis of the aforementioned books in two dimensions: responding to social needs and responding to the emotional-psychological needs of young people, and finally, after the necessary statistical analyses, it became clear that these books have paid little attention to the aforementioned categories.
