Nowadays, creativity and innovation are considered an unavoidable necessity for organizational stability and survival, and on the other hand, for the internal mobility and dynamism of the organization; therefore, most organizations are striving to develop their capacity and abilities for creativity and innovation through identifying creative and innovative individuals, characteristics and factors affecting creativity and innovation, and also through training. Given this matter, in this article, an effort has been made to discuss and examine definitions of creativity and innovation and the investigation of their processes, the characteristics of creative and innovative individuals and organizations, as well as the influential and inhibiting factors from the perspective of experts and thinkers in this field.

In one way, competition among countries for development and improvement of economic status, rapid changes in human needs, especially in developed countries, and also the investigation and creation of new methods to reduce energy consumption and resource shortages in the world, have increasingly been effective in importance, creativity, and innovation; therefore, given this situation, the continuity of organizations' life depends on their reconstruction; this reconstruction is carried out through coordinating goals with current conditions and correcting and improving the methods of pursuing these goals.
Generally, today many organizations and companies are in a changing and turbulent environment, such that if they want to maintain their stability and survival, they are forced to be continuously creative and innovative; thus, one of the important challenges for managers is creativity and innovation, because it has a close connection with organizational effectiveness.
Failures and mistakes are celebrated, and if we look at this from a human resources perspective, we see that essentially innovative organizations are actively seeking to increase the training of their members so that they are always up to date; they regulate their jobs so that they are not waiting for punishment or penalty after committing a mistake, and they encourage individuals to emerge as heroes on the stage of change.
