چکیده:
هدف تحقیق: هدف از مطالعه حاضر بررسی انتظارات ورزشکاران از روانشناسی ورزش و همچنین بررسی موانع پیش روی روانشناسان برای ورود به تیم های ورزشی بود. روش تحقیق: بدین منظور 365 نفر از ورزشکاران نخبه حاضر در تیم های ملی و لیگ برتر چهار رشته ورزشی چک لیست انتظارات و پرسش نامه موانع را تکمیل کردند. از آزمون های توصیفی جهت گزارش متغیرهای انتظارات و موانع استفاده شد. ارتباط
انتظارات با متغیرهای کیفی از آزمون 2 χ و برای آزمون ارتباط بین موانع و متغیرهای زمینه ای کیفی از آزمون تحلیل واریانس استفاده گردید. یافته ها: نتایج نشان می دهد 72/2 درصد تمایل جدی داشتند در مورد نگرانی های شخصی خود با روانشناس مشورت کنند و این مساله برای عملکرد ورزشی 9/ 58 درصد بود. بعلاوه مهمترین موانع ورود روانشناسان به تیم های ورزشی، به ترتیب کمبود دانش و تجربه ورزشی روانشناس، کمبود آگاهی ورزشکاران از روانشناسی و عدم شفافیت در خدمات روانشناسی ورزشی بود. نتیجه گیری: مطالعه اخیر نشان داد ورزشکاران نخبه به مشاوره خصوص ی اعتماد بیشتری دارند و کمبود اطلاعات کافی در ورزشکاران و روانشناسان را مهمترین موانع توسعه روانشناسی در ورزش ایران می دانند.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate athletes' expectations toward sport psychology in
addition to barriers to sport psychologists practice. Methods: A total of 365 elite athletes attending
different national teams and primer leagues were asked to complete expectations checklist and barriers
questionnaire. Descriptive statistics were reported; furthermore association between expectations and
independent variables analyzed by Qi-square and association between barriers and independent variables
analyzed by analysis of variance. Results: The result showed that 72.2% of participants preferred the
individual counseling rather than other kinds such as group counseling to deal with psychologists. Seeing
a sport psychology consultant, 33.5% had serious interest to talk about personal concerns while 58.9%
were interested in talking about performance concerns. Furthermore, the most important barriers against
sport psychologists were lack of sports knowledge in psychologists and lack of knowledge of sport
psychology in athletes followed by lack of clarity in psychological services. Conclusion: Current study
indicated that athletes had a preference for individual counseling and they believed that inadequate
information among athletes and psychologists were the major barriers to progress of sport psychology in
Iran.
