The phonemic verb pattern of (fi'a'al) is one of the trilateral
verb's . It is also one of the standard phonemic verb pattern of
quadrilateral which has been found in phonemics and exaggeration
as well. Additionally, Arabic phoneticians and grammarians
consider it in the broken plural as the plural of multitude, and the
rooted morphological word comes as singular and the broken plural
as well. , for instance,/ hijjan/ and/ dillas./
In the current study the researcher aims at collecting all the
intended words of above-mentioned phonemic patterns that come in
the Holy Quran. Also, the researcher aims at casting new light
critically on the singular words which come in such measures and
words that come as the plural of multitude and some possible come
in two forms as singular and plural of multitude which end with
linked (ta) besides some which come in the phonemic verb pattern
of fia'al in other Qira'at ( The recitations) rather than Hafs from
Asim the scholar of Quranic recitations.
It has been noted that some words come as singular in a
certain position and a broken plural in the other. Moreover, some
words may take the two cases in the same position besides they
may be differ in their acceptability of the two possible cases.
Additionally, some broken plurals may be used for more than one
singular , either in the same position , such as in the morpheme
(khilal) or in several position such as in the morpheme (rjal).
It is clear that, the effect of the linguistic context and
syntactic formula which play a role in considering some words as
singular or broken plural, for example, (imam, khisam, khilal).
Moreover , some levelings are not free from an unacceptable
constraint, for instance, the morpheme (isha) which is considered as
plural of the morpheme(a'ash) and the consideration of the
morpheme (kitab) as plural of the morpheme (katib).
