The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of
eight weeks of intermittent rope endurance training with ginger
supplementation on changes in serum levels of cetirizine-1 and
catalase in overweight and obese adolescent adolescents. Methods:
In this quasi-experimental study, 30 subjects were randomly divided
into three groups of exercise + placebo (n = 10), exercise + ginger
supplement (n = 10), ginger supplement (n = 10). Subjects in the
ginger group received 1 g of ginger powder daily with 250 ml of
water for 8 weeks. Blood samples were taken 72 hours before and
after the study protocol. Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical methods,
covariance analysis with pre-test data as covariate and control of its
effect on results, Bonferroni test, and SPSS software version 22 and
Excel were used. The level of significance was considered less than
0.05. Results: There was no significant difference in the effects of
eight weeks of intermittent rope endurance training with ginger
supplementation of the indexes P1 (P = 0.141) and Chase (P =
1.299) in all three groups. It can be concluded that eight weeks of
intermittent endurance training combined with ginger
supplementation did not have a favorable effect on changes in serum
levels of cetirizine-1 and catalase in non-athlete overweight and
obese adolescents.

Effects of high intensity interval training and ginger supplement on some antioxidant markers, cardio – respiratory fitness and body mass index in overweight women.
Short- term high- intensity interval exercise training attenuates oxidative stress responses and improves antioxidant atatus in healthy humans.
