To develop an oral history for a certain event or period, observing the editing raw materials and understanding its boundaries is important.
What perhaps a certain materials which have been collected with a great effort, will be delivered to be published in a distort form as a
result of carelessness and negligence of the editor or the individual who has set them down. So the issue of editing boundaries in the development
and formulation of the interviews material is a significant issue, however, it has not been much discussed about. Our oral history
can be durable if it is well transferred from the spoken language into written language by the editor and if it is being written down in accordance
with the chronology of the events. Setting down and editing are amongst the most basic and at the same time the most difficult of the
stages of the oral history development. In editing an oral history, it is worth noting that the tone of the narrator should be preserved and the
event narrated by the narrator should not be altered substantially with a clumsy editing. In this regard, it is sufficient if the narrator reads his
edited speeches and admits that it is what he has narrated and this is the same "editing boundaries" in oral history and memories. Because
the duty of an Persian language editor is to correct errors, remove additions, replace the words more appropriate and protect the grammar
and rules of the Persian language, not to change the tone of the interviews. For having a flowing text, however, the subject and the author
writing method is very important as well. In my opinion, a good writer should be a good editor to be able to employ the words appropriately.
In this article, I have attempted to use my own studies, perceptions and experiences in editing and compiling the oral history. Then I
continue with a brief discuss of the key words of the article such as Oral History, Standard Language, Narrator Spoken Language and
