Introduction: The regulation of energy balance in humans is a complex. Different studies suggest the relationship between exercise and the negative energy balance in the body. Comparison of the different exhaustive exercise training on appetite, calorie intake, calorie consumption, and food liking in student’ girls Materials and Methods: The method used was of semi-experimental. Ten girl students were chosen randomly and voluntarily from University. These participants performed three protocols of swimming, running, and resistance training in three sessions; The first two items with 80% of the maximum heart rate up to exhaustion and the last item (i.e. resistance exhaustion) with the 80% of a maximum repetition up to exhaustion. Appetite, calorie intake and food intake were recorded by a questionnaire. Energy intake was also recorded by subjects on the 24-hour physical activity record. Results: The tendency to food had a significant increase immediately after the resistance training compared to running. Also hunger immediately after swimming compared to running had a significant increase. But the fullness feeling of the examinees in four stages had no significant increase in these protocols. Between one session of swimming, running, and circular exhaustive resistance training there was no significant difference in the tendency to food, calorie intake and calorie consumption. Conclusion: In general the results showed that there is no significant difference in calorie intake, calorie consumption, and appetite. In other words, although exercise produces a negative calorie balance, it may not be offset in the short term, and there is no difference between swimming and running and resistance training. Key Words: swimming, running, and exhaustive resistance training, Appetite, calorie intake, Energy intake
