چکیده:
هدف: شناسایی مسائل زنان در دهۀ 1300-1310 بهصورتی که در دو نشریۀ متعلق به زنان منعکس شدهاست. روش/ رویکرد پژوهش: دادهها از محتوای دو مجله به نامهای زبان زنان و عالم نسوان گرداوری شد. از اسناد موجود در آرشیو ملی ایران برای گرداوری دادههای پشتیبان استفاده شد. یافتهها و نتیجهگیری: زبان زنان را صدیقه دولتآبادی (1261-1340) از پیشروان حقوق زنان در ایران، ابتدا در سال 1299 در اصفهان بهصورت روزنامه، و پساز توقیف بهدلیل پرداختن به موضوعهای سیاسی در سال بعد، تا سال 1302 در تهران بهصورت مجلهای ویژۀ مسائل زنان منتشر کرد. عالم نسوان به صاحبامتیازی نوابه صفوی بهمدت سیزده سال (1299-1312) بهصورت منظم منتشر شد. هر دو مجله به دفاع از حقوق زنان، مبارزه با جهل و بیسوادی زنان، رسیدگی به معضلات بهداشتی-درمانی زنان، موضوع حجاب، قوانین ازدواجوطلاق، مبارزه با ازدواج زودهنگام دختران و تعدد همسر میپرداختند. هدف این مجلات انتقاد از وضع جامعۀ ایران و ترویج نوسازی ساختار اجتماعی-فرهنگی بود؛ ولی بهسبب نگرانی از توقیف، غیرسیاسی بودند و برنامههای نوسازی دولتمحور را دنبال میکردند.
Purpose: Problems of Iranian women in the 1920s, as discussed in two women’s magazines published by prominent Iranian women, are identified. Method and Research Design: Apart from the data collected from the contents of the magazine, records of the National Archives of Iran was consulted for supporting data.Findings and Conclusion: Zabaan-e Zanaan [approx.: Women’s Voice] was owned by a pioneer of women’s rights, Sedigheh Dowlat-Aabaadi (1882-1961), and published first as a newspaper in her home town of Isfahan (1920). After publication was suspended because she attacked the government’s foreign policies, she published it for two years as an exclusively women’s magazine in Tehran. Aalam-e Nesvaan [Women’s World], owned by Navvaabeh Safavi, was published by the graduates of the American School for Girls in the Presbyterian missionary compound in Tehran for 13 years (circa. 1920-1933). Both magazines defended and continuously called for equal rights and public education for women, women’s health issues, campaigned against the Hijab and polygamy, asked for radical reform of marriage law and campaigned against child marriage.
