e people of the Indian subcontinent had close cultural, social and economic ties with Iran during
the Sassanid period; Especially the Sindh region, which was the crossroads of these two civilizations.
At that time, there was a system of shortcomings in the document that imposed many hardships on
the people under the influence of Buddhism and Hinduism. However, aer the arrival of Islam in Iran
and the spread of conquests during the Umayyad period, the scope of the campaigns of the Muslim
conquerors reached the document, and Muhammad ibn Qasim, the commander of the Umayyad army,
was able to occupy the entire Sindh area. Although at first the conquests were violent and violent, they
later spared the natives to collect tribute, and they refused to destroy their fire temples. Because Islam
promoted equality and freedom in social life, and did not pay attention to the race or social class of
individuals, and people were free to accept the new religion. Since the way Islam spreads in the Sindh
area has many ups and downs, and as a result of those conquests, the majority of the people of that
region gradually converted to Islam. Its factors and results should be examined and analyzed during
the caliphate of Walid ibn Abd al-Malik and the commander of his army, Muhammad ibn Qasim.
