language studies
according to its role throughout three sciences of the Arabic language;
Al-Nahw(Arabic grammer), Al-Sarf (Arabic morphology) and the
Arabic language science.
As long as the Jahili poetry is a continuous source of Arabic
language evidence, I have decided to concentrate on this “Afal form’” and
its implications in some of it.The groups I focused on are; the long ten
poems, especially on what was agreed upon concerning Seegha (form)
meanings in Arabic language. A group of scientists wrote books about
the meanings of “Falto’” and “Afalto’” and they mentioned evidences for
these usages in Arabic language.
I have divided this study into the following sections:
A- The history of “Afa’l form’ original root.
B- The original meaning of “Afa’l form’
C- The difference between Afa’l and fa’l.
D- The expansion of Afa’] meanings.
E- Determining the change process and not allowing transitive verbs.
F- The intransitive Afal and its transitive verb.
G- The connotations of Afa’l form in Almoa’laqat Alasher, like:
1- The transitive connotation.
2- Using it to mean the three-letter-verb (the verb root)
3- The connotation of bringing things or coming.
4- The connotation of time reaching.
5- The connotation of negation.
6- The connotation of change.
7- The connotation of place reaching
