بر پایه آموزههای دینی، شأن پیامبران از سیاستورزی والاتر است اما در صورت به دست گرفتن زعامت و رهبری، ایشان نیز تحت شرایطی، چون اهل سیاست رفتار کرده و به روش سیاستمداران، از جمله مذاکره سیاسی عمل کردهاند. این امر در سیره پیامبر اکرم (صلیالله علیه و آله)، در مذاکره با بنیضمره، مذاکرات حدیبیه و مذاکره با بنیأشجع، بهوضوح قابلمشاهده و نیز شایسته بررسی است. از نقطهنظر پژوهش، «اهداف مذاکره» در سیره نبوی، بارزترین عنصر متمایزکننده مذاکرات پیامبر اکرم (صلیالله علیه و آله)، در مقایسه با مذاکرات دیگر سیاستمداران بهحساب میآید. در مقاله پیشرو، با استفاده از روش تحلیل محتوا، ضمن بازخوانی منابع تاریخی-روایی مرتبط با سیره سیاسی پیامبر اسلام (صلیالله علیه و آله) در سه مذاکره مزبور، مهمترین اهداف و مقاصد ایشان از مذاکره سیاسی با مخالفان، در قالب اهداف عُقلایی فراگیر و اهداف اختصاصی محدود، بررسی و تحلیل گردیده است. پیامبر اکرم (صلیالله علیه و آله) از انجام این مذاکرات، به دنبال تحقق اهداف عقلایی فراگیر و مشترک، همچون حل مسالمتآمیز اختلافات، تأمین مصالح طرفین و ایجاد امنیت پایدار و اهداف اختصاصی متناسب با زمان و مکان در هر مورد خاص، همچون جلوگیری از اتحاد نظامی با دشمنان، مهیا نمودن زمینه فتح مکه و دفاع از همپیمانان بوده است.

From the point of view of research, the "goals of negotiation" in the Prophetic tradition, is the most prominent distinguishing element of the negotiations of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), compared to the negotiations of other politicians. In the present article, using the content analysis method, while reading the historical-narrative sources related to the political life of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) in the three mentioned negotiations, his most important goals and intentions of political negotiation with the opposition, in the form of comprehensive rational goals and limited specific goals. , Has been reviewed and analyzed. From these negotiations, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) sought to achieve comprehensive and common rational goals, such as: "peaceful settlement of disputes", "securing the interests of the parties" and "creating lasting security" and specific goals appropriate to the time and place in each specific case. , Such as: "preventing military alliance with enemies", "preparing the ground for the conquest of Mecca" and "defending the allies".
