The "literary revolution" planned by the Iranian constitutional intelligentsia and carried out by the figures such as Ali Asghar Taleghani and Taghi Raf’at, rather than making new forms of poetry embracing the revolutionary content, has proved itself to be as an opposition to the classical poetry. The socio-political revolution had also influenced the Iranian literary field but did not lead to a genuine literary theorization. The article will be based on Foucault's archeology, and since the subject is submissive in his discourse theory, the role of subjects in Laclau and Mouffe's will be applied here, of those concept such as "logic equivalence ", "discourse alteration", "subjectivity situation" and "pre-given subject." The supporters of the traditional trend in poetry like the poet-laureate, Bahar, and the poet-critic, Wahid Dastgerdi interpreted the literary revolution as an evolution or opposition against the literary conventions, attempting to canonize a neo-classic perspective. In this essay, we have tried to clarify with archeology that the notion of literary revolution goes back to the French Revolution and the later Ottoman and Russian practices; there is, the zero degree of phenomena where Victor Hugo's literary revolution also formed a romantic opposition to the Classics. The genealogy of the concept shows how those literary traditionalists and conservatives used those discursive strategies such as "destroying the proposed meanings by the literary revolutionists", "mirroring the literary luminaries from the tradition" and "splitting political and literary fields" to marginalize the possible connotations and again canonize its peripheral meanings.
