Quotes in which phrases like "Not from me/ us" are used to describe a person (Muslim) who commits a certain action (mostly peccant) imply the meaning of having nothing to do with the prophet or imams' way (Sunnah). Identifying the read lines crossing of which deposes Shia from leader-follower standard relationship, these quotes became of such high importance. To have a better understanding of the exact meaning above mentioned phrases bear, the article in hand accomplished qualitative analysis; drawing included quotations out of Arabic literature, holy Quran and hadiths and employed thematic analysis to reach the essential sense or set of senses they contain. By doing so, we have reached the covert pattern of the quotes that is laid upon ideological, moral and social read lines, centered by imam's way and preachments; a pattern that includes any manifestation of jeopardizing social values, whether by attitude or behavior as a result of absence of appropriate relationship among the believers, disobedience from imam and also lack of (social) dignity and safety in the Muslim/Shia society. At the end it appears that Shia hadiths including foresaid phrases are meant to draw a set of read lines, both ideological and behavioral appointed to conserve Muslim/Shia identity, concentrating on imam's way and character
