The relation between the duration and presentation of courses in an integrated unity or as separate and parallel components, on learning of graduates, has been always discussed. One of the exact experiences can be seen, in the process of changing in the architecture educational system from continuous Masters to Bachelor. By changing the academic educational length of Architecture, the basic courses in the first year has fundamentally changed in specific. Opposite of the previous studio education system, this separation of courses caused the lack of coordination amongst studio tutors. The lack of coordination in the process of architectural education resulted in reducing the students’ interpersonal skills and therefore having architects with lower capability in the future. The low level of emotional intelligence and creativity of the graduates can be the result of inappropriate teaching. Creativity is ability, a mental process, or a unique response to a problem. Emotional intelligence is a factor that motivates a person when he does not achieve the goal. The present combined research is trying to depict the effect of old and new systems of Architectural education on the emotional intelligence and creativity of graduates. The test has been carried out by two groups of 30 Architects which were graduated from Azad University of Tabriz. The Brad berry and Greaves Emotional Intelligence questionnaire and Abedi creativity questionnaire is used for the measurement of emotional intelligence and creativity. The results indicate that longer continuous studio education system improves the individual and social capabilities of the Architects and enhanced their emotional intelligence. By increasing individual skills, Architects has the ability to create new ideas. And as a result, longer continuous studio education system is dynamic and targeted education due to the increased emotional intelligence and creativity of the Architects.
