the "second philosophical rationale" is presented as a branch of the discussion of science and perception in islamic philosophy. this discussion can be examined from both ontological and epistemological perspectives and there is a close relationship between its ontological and epistemological orientations. in the "ontology" dimension of science and perception, issues such as: proving the existence of science, expressing its abstraction, its relation to the universe in terms of the present or the queen, or the union of the known and the known; but in the dimension of "epistemology" other issues such as: the way to achieve science, the value of cognition, the possibility of cognition, the quality of science's relationship with the known, the amount of its presentation from reality, the criterion for proving the correctness of thought, the positive criterion for distinguishing right from wrong. .. is raised. one of the hallmarks of epistemological discussions between eastern and western philosophers is the quality of the mind's access to this type of concept. this research with a descriptive-analytical method, based on some principles of transcendent wisdom, including the establishment and proof of philosophical concepts abroad, the existence of the soul and the quality of its perception, etc., seeks to prove that: philosophical concepts, directly and without intermediaries they come out and come to the mind with sensory perception. although this theory does not exist in the works of sadr al-muta'allehin, but his philosophical foundations provide the basis for such an explanation.
