Bektashi was one of the most powerful and influential sects in the history of the
Ottoman Empire, which gained a special place in the Ottoman Empire with its
policy of religious tolerance, interaction with the Ottoman rulers and influence
among the Yeni Ceri army. Thus, Bektashi came to power and, by adapting to
the religious and political goals of the Ottomans, was able to play a role in the
social, political and military developments of the Ottoman period. The basic
demand of the present study is to investigate Bektashi relations with the
Ottomans until the end of the reign of Sultan Bayazid II. Research method in
this research, descriptive-analytical method and data collection method is also
library. According to the findings of this study, Bektashi has always had stable
and close relations with the Ottomans from the first years of the establishment
of the Ottoman state, and the elders of this sect also influenced the Ottoman
system of government and established ties with the Yenis. They have done
something valuable to the Ottoman government. Thus the Bektashis, with the
religious and political alignment of the Ottomans, were supported by the
Ottoman rulers, and with the exception of the exaggerated Bektashis who were
ideologically and politically opposed to the Ottomans, the other Bektashis were
not subjected to strict rule by the Ottoman government. And for a long time
they established an inseparable connection with the Ottomans.
