چکیده:
The aim of this research is to identify the components and methods used in inclusive education research for students with special needs using the synthesis research method. The methodological approach in this qualitative research, using the synthesis research strategy and content analysis method, involved referring to reliable databases. A total of 33 articles were found in the field of inclusive education for students with special needs between the years 2001-2023; a large number of them were unrelated to the objectives of the present research and were published by non-academic authors. From among them, 22 articles were selected as a purposeful sample. The findings of the research showed that the most important indicators identified in the field of education research for students with special needs were: individual differences of children with special needs, specialized teaching methods, limiting the number of students, lack of appropriate spatial design, shortage of rehabilitation services, the component of well-being for students with special needs, cultural and social facilitation, segregation, teacher quality, curriculum, educational space, educational facilities, and executive staff. Other findings of the present research indicated that qualitative research is the dominant method in research on the education of students with special needs.
