خلاصه ماشینی:
Introduction Professor Randall Collins is a prominent American sociologist who enjoys lasting fame as a new, innovative, and creative theorist surrounding the combined paradigm of social definition and conflict theory.
To get to know this outstanding and prominent figure in new sociology better and more accurately, we have had an interview with him, along with studying society from his influential work titled "Conflict Theory," which helps us understand.
Postmodern and deconstructionist theorists mostly presented their scientific activities in the seventies and early eighties, and their main focus was in Paris; although many of them were followed in the intellectual current and life of Britain and America, the original foundation of these movements was in literature departments, not in sociology.
Until I finished college and my bachelor's degree in 1968, I had found the main ideas of my theoretical categories, such as combining conflict theory based on Weber's perception, and micro-sociology based on Goffman's interpretation of Durkheim's rituals and ceremonies.
This micro-sociology also included Mead's theory about thinking as internalized conversations and was therefore considered as internalized rituals and ceremonies, and was an emphasis that radical micro-sociologists had through careful examination of all social processes in successive detailed experience with ethnomethodological researchers.
Therefore, Iranian sociologists can participate in the world of sociology by contacting researchers working on areas of general theoretical issues that are the newest areas of discussion and advancing these issues.
Within a year or two, I plan to publish a book entitled “Chains of Symbolic Interaction,” which will include my most important research in the field of micro sociology.
