چکیده:
"Islamic values‖, in this study, means "the ethical values derived from Islam". From this viewpoint, "Islamic value" is a voluntary and transcendental act whose sublimeness originates from Islamic principles and insights and leads man towards his true goals and perfection, i.e. nearness to God Almighty. Islamic values influence and give direction to Muslim managers’ views and practical methods. Therefore, one of the best definitions of "Islamic management" is managing based on the value system of Islam. In the Islamic management sources, "specific Islamic values governing management" under the title of "Islamic Management Principles" have been studied from different dimensions leading to impressive results. Today, "media management" is an important and new field in management. Therefore, "Islamic media management" is also influenced by these values and principles. However, there is a set of Islamic values specific to media management. These ―specific‖ values have not been investigated independently so far. Clearly, from the theoretical aspect, identifying these special values is a necessity for developing the knowledge of media management with an Islamic approach for experts and researchers in the field of Islamic management; however, from the practical and applied aspect, the necessity and usefulness of such researches have been questioned. The present research aims to explain this necessity in detail. Using descriptive-analytical method, the researcher has studied different sources and has discussed the necessity of identifying the values governing media management in six aspects.
خلاصه ماشینی:
1. Media Management Based on a comprehensive definition, "management" is the process of effective and efficient application of material and human resources based on an accepted value system, which takes place to achieve the determined goals of the organization through planning, organizing, mobilizing resources and facilities, leading, and controlling (Rezaian, 2009, p.
One expert, taking into account the most important goal and activity of media organizations, namely the production and distribution of messages, has provided another definition: "Media management is the process of optimal application of all material, human, and technological facilities toward the production, reproduction, and distribution of purposeful messages within the framework of an accepted value system, which is carried out with the ultimate goal of having a desirable impact on the audience" (ibid).
The "political, economic, social, and cultural nature of media organizations," the "functional diversity of these organizations," the "highly dynamic and changing environment," "special human resources," "unique products," and "different consumers" exert a significant influence on all managerial dimensions and processes, making the guidelines of experts and researchers in the field of management (especially Islamic management) and their theories—despite their considerable breadth and depth—insufficient and ineffective for solving some problems of the media organization!
Based on Based on the dominant approach, "media management" is considered one of the specific domains and fields of management that has important differences from other organizations in six aspects; therefore, in addition to general managerial values, there are also specific managerial values related to and governing media management that can be identified and extracted from Islamic sources.
