And since man is a social being by nature and is naturally drawn towards the majority, the Holy Quran, in condemning this characteristic, says: »فقال وان تطع اكثر من في الارض يضلّوك عن سبيل الله ان يتبعون الّا الظن و ان هم الا يخرصون «(An'am, 6 / 116); if you obey most of those who are on the earth, those who follow only their conjectures and judge according to their conjectures, they will mislead you from the path of God. According to the verses of the Book of God, the goal of human education is rational education and having a scientific spirit without prejudice. 23 In inviting people to Islam, the Noble Prophet (PBUH) gave primacy to the intellect—and strove toward the blossoming of human rational potentials and his intellectual growth and elevation—since faith is not based on compulsion and cannot achieve stability, nor can God be sought in the ruins of ignorance.
