چکیده:
Among the contemporary works in the field of fabricated hadiths, the book Al-Mawdu'at fi al-Athar wa al-Akhbar authored by Hashem Marouf al-Hasani is one that has been written regarding the forged narrations present in the sources of both sects, with an emphasis on narrations of merit (manqabat) and deficiency (manqisat). To date, several studies have been conducted regarding the introduction, methodology, and critique of this work from a general perspective. While utilizing these works, the present research specifically aims to critique and examine the narrations of the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt. Although Hashem Marouf approaches narrations throughout the book Al-Mawdu'at with a textual and chain-of-transmission (isnad) critique approach, he has sometimes judged with negligence and leniency, and at other times unilaterally and hastily. It appears that he primarily judges a narration as fabricated based on its content, and his chain-of-transmission investigations mostly serve to confirm and emphasize. His method in the chain-of-transmission investigation of some narrations faces flaws such as generalization, overlooking primary biographical (rijal) sources, irregular handling of the discussion of exaggeration (ghuluw), providing incorrect information in the biographies of narrators, unfair criticism of some hadith scholars and authors, failure to investigate other paths of narration in reliable hadith sources, lack of attention to collecting hadiths with similar themes and hadith families, use of controversial criteria, and excessive insistence on the criterion of the narration's conformity with reason and empirical science.

s) in the book Al-Mawdu'at fi al-Athar wa al-Akhbar Farideh Amini Parvin Baharzadeh Masoumeh Shirdel Tahereh Nemati Abstract Among the contemporary works in the field of fabricated hadiths, the book Al-Mawdu'at fi al-Athar wa al-Akhbar authored by Hashem Marouf al-Hasani is one that has been written regarding forged narrations found in the sources of both sects (Shi'a and Sunni), with an emphasis on manqabat (virtue) and manqasat (deficiency) narrations.
His method in the chain-based examination of some narrations faces flaws such as generalization, overlooking primary biographical (rijal) sources, unregulated handling of the discussion of ghuluw (extremism), providing incorrect information in the biographies of narrators, unfair criticism of certain hadith scholars and authors, failure to investigate other paths of narration in reliable hadith sources, lack of attention to collecting narrations with similar themes and hadith families, use of controversial criteria, and excessive insistence on the criterion of the narration's conformity with reason and empirical science.
On the other hand, by examining the content of the hadiths present in the fourth chapter of Al-Mawdu'at, which Hashem Marouf considers fabricated, it is observed that his attention to the narrations of the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) has been greater than to other fabricated narrations in the books of both sects.
The existing weaknesses in Hashim Ma'ruf's method of hadith criticism regarding the traditions of the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) can be examined in two main parts: isnadi (chain of narration) critique and mawdu'i (content) critique.
