The present article, which was prepared with the aim of comparatively investigating family management from the perspectives of Allameh Tabataba'i and Parsons, seeks to answer the main question: what are the similarities and differences between the views of Allameh Tabataba'i and Parsons regarding family management? Data collection and the conduct of this research were carried out using a documentary method. This research, on one hand, has an interdisciplinary approach between ethics and sociology, and on the other hand, is considered a scientific-religious research. In this article, management patterns in the family are first presented, and then the views of Allameh Tabataba'i and Parsons regarding family management are mentioned. Based on the findings of this research, Allameh Tabataba'i emphasized the division of roles and rationality regarding family management, while Parsons referred to the division of roles and its non-negotiable principle. Of course, there are five similarities and four points of difference between the views of Allameh Tabataba'i and Parsons, which are mentioned in this writing.

Man's management in the family Allameh Tabataba'i, regarding the hierarchy of individuals in the family, follows the verse "الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاء" (An-Nisa: 34) and affirms the management of the man in the family, explaining this matter by referring to points of social life and the natural conditions of men and women.
An important point is that the man's role is providing social status to the family through his job and maintaining the security and comfort of the family through his occupational income, and on the other hand, women are emotional and affective are, and the responsibility of raising and supervising children and managing the household is upon the woman.
4. Both perspectives are in favor of male management in the family and, by referring to points from social life and the natural conditions of men and women, such as the necessity of intensity and power, management, and economic administration for the male sex, and the obligation of softness, being emotional, and receptivity for the female sex, explain this matter.
The theoretical foundations and the method of inference of Allameh Tabataba'i in explaining family management are based on Islamic teachings, whereas Parsons, under the influence of the economic crisis of the 1970s, presented a theory regarding how to manage the family and explained it from the perspective of structural functionalism.
