Although the discussion of the Qur'an and the theory of evolution still places some of its supporters in a wide range of separation or conflict between the two, but there are also those who think of the connection and integration of the two, among them, James Clark, the contemporary philosopher of religion, who by analyzing some of his epistemological and methodological foundations in this research, it is clear that his view of science and religion has its own characteristics. For example, in relation to the theory of evolution and the Qur'an, he has discussed the style of expression of the Qur'an, and by studying the verses of creation, he has come to the conclusion that the Qur'an's statement on the subject of human creation is brief and scattered and often ambiguous. Therefore, trying to discover and understand the stages of creation with all its details through the Qur'an leads us to its incompatibility with the scientific theory of evolution. In addition, the strict approach among the interpreters of the Qur'an will be for those who do not try to discover all the facts and stages of creation from the Qur'an's statement in the creation of man, but also consider an important role and place for science and new scientific discoveries of scientists of different sciences, and also that they consider the references of the Qur'an in this matter to prove more important matters and facts such as the end of disbelief, the need not to be proud and the need to be pious and surrender to Allah the Almighty, thinking about creation and reminding Allah’s blessings and remembrance, resurrection, Allah's power and creativity, and the merit of worshiping Allah the Almighty.

This research, using the scientific-philosophical explanation of James Clerk, a contemporary philosopher of religion and ethics, who actually guides the audience toward a different approach based on the linguistic structure of the Quranic text and its concise and brief indications in the story describing how humans were created; seeks to propose and explain this issue: what exactly are the goals and purposes of the Quran in the verses regarding evolution and human creation, and whether, by using the method that Clerk has described in examining the style of expression, the type of Quranic indications, and the way Muslims confront the theory of evolution, a new and clear perspective can be achieved or not?
