چکیده:
Indonesia is the largest archipelago on Earth and the fourth most populous country in the world, and in this regard, it is considered the largest Islamic country. Although Islam entered this country later than many other Muslim countries, it gradually covered all its inhabited islands; interestingly, its entry and expansion, unlike some other parts of Islam, was not through military conquest, but rather in a peaceful and cultural manner. This method of entry and expansion of Islam has not been without influence on the cultural life and the interaction of its people with religion on one hand, and the relations between Islamic sects with each other on the other hand; so much so that the people of this country, under the shadow of deep belief in Islam and the application of its rulings, were able to find identity, and Islam was able to bind together the fragmented nation and the inhabitants of the scattered islands, thereby ensuring their independence and national unity. Even now, the religious differences observed by colonialism or its internal agents in some parts of the Islamic world are not seen among the followers of various sects, including Shia and Sunni, in Indonesia, and the people insist on religious commonalities, especially the love for the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), the commemoration of the Husayni Ashura, the pilgrimage to the shrines of religious and mystical figures, and seeking intercession through pure and infallible leaders.

Insight Years had passed since the organized and planned advancement of Muslims in surrounding lands, which took the form of Islamic Jihad or religious Ghaza and Ghazwa and appeared in the format of conquests; instead of conquests, Muslims had turned towards sectarianism, state-building, and civil wars or cultural efforts that ______________________________ 1- Member of the faculty of the Research Institute of History and Sira of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
In total, this shows that the Islamic sphere of Southeast Asia, including one of the most populous Muslim countries in the world, turned to the saving religion of Islam in a cultural and peaceful manner, and with its widespread reception in recent centuries, granted it a universal and majority presence.
The Religion of Islam, Indonesia's Savior from Colonialism The colonization of the islands and lands of Southeast Asia, including the Indonesian archipelago, like other colonized points, has a sorrowful and cautionary history, representing a black page of Western culture and political past on one hand, and the resistances and epic deeds of the people of the region, especially Muslims, on the other.
