چکیده:
Organizations' disregard for work ethics and weakness in adhering to ethical principles when dealing with human resources and external stakeholders can create problems for organizations. Additionally, the discussion of ethical principles, especially Islamic work ethics in the Islamic society of Iran, is important. Due to the importance of the subject, much research has been conducted on Islamic work ethics in recent years. Given the increase in research on Islamic work ethics and the identification of numerous related variables, the present study aims to examine the most important variables related to Islamic work ethics in studies conducted in Iran. The research method of the present article is meta-analysis. The statistical population of the research consists of all valid scientific articles published between the years 1380 and 1394 (Solar Hijri) on the subject of Islamic work ethics. Ultimately, 16 studies were selected and analyzed using CMA2 software. Research results showed that in total, the relationship of 16 variables with Islamic work ethics was examined in various studies. Among these variables, three variables—organizational commitment, organizational justice, and job satisfaction—had the greatest impact on Islamic work ethics. The meta-analysis results showed that the effect size between organizational commitment and Islamic work ethics is 0.55, which is at a high level. Also, the combined effect size of organizational justice and Islamic work ethics is 0.53, which is at a high level. The relationship between job satisfaction and Islamic work ethics in the reviewed studies is equivalent to 0.27 and is at a weak level.

In the present study, by utilizing the principles and rules of the meta-analysis method, the application of this method regarding the research conducted in the field of Islamic work ethics is addressed, and an effort has been made to answer this question: Which variables have the most relationship with Islamic work ethics in the reviewed research in Iran?
According to Cohen's effect size interpretation table (Table 1), the effect size between organizational commitment and Islamic work ethics in 7 studies is at a high level.
According to Cohen's table, it can be concluded that the combined effect size of organizational culture and Islamic work ethics in 3 studies is at a medium level.

The research results showed that organizational commitment and justice, compared to other variables, have a significant relationship with Islamic work ethics in Iran, and this effect is at the intra-organizational level.
The results of the present study also indicate a positive and significant relationship between organizational commitment and Islamic work ethics.
