An interpretation of fate and destiny in the Holy Quran from the perspective of modern sciences مقاله

" For example, when God created the element oxygen, which is in gaseous form, He first determined its QADAR, meaning, in traditional terms, He determined a "device" for it, or in scientific terms, a "formula" for it, and decreed that in the heart of every particle of it (meaning inside every atom from it) there should be a certain number of protons and neutrons, and a certain number of electrons should revolve around them, and He determined how its physical and chemical properties should be (or in traditional terms: through that very device, He guided it toward what He has decreed; thus, every being is moving toward what has been predestined for it through divine and ontological guidance). If we see that the Earth (by God's command and in a specific way) is moving around the sun and creating night and day, and the moon revolves around the Earth and changes shape from a thin crescent to a full disk, and if the stars shine at night and illuminate the sky, and if through our science we can calculate all the movements of the celestial planets and know at every moment where every star and planet is located and where it is going, the meaning of this is that we have attained a part of the "QADAR" of the moon, the sun, and the stars, and we have understood a part of the decree of the Almighty for these celestial bodies, just as it has been stated in the Holy Quran: «و الشمس تجری لمستقرٍّ لها، ذلک تقدیر العزیز العلیم» (Ya-Sin, 36/38), and «و أوحی فی کلّ سماءٍ امرها و زیّنّا السّماء الدنیا بمصابیح و حفظاً، ذلک تقدیر العزیز العلیم» (Fussilat, 41/12), and «و القمر قدّرناه منازل حتی عاد کالعرجون القدیم» (Ya-Sin, 36/39), and «لا الشمس ینبغی لها ان تدرک القمر و لا اللیل سابق النهار، و کلّ فی فکٍ یسبحون» (Ya-Sin, 36/40); and regarding the sun which is blazing and the moon which receives light from the sun, He says: «و جعل القمر فیهن نوراً و جعل الشمس سراجا» (Nuh, 71/16), where in the interpretation of this verse, Allamah says: "The meaning of the sun being a 'siraj' (lamp/source of light) is that it illuminates our world...
