The outbreak of infectious diseases (such as Corona in current times) has always caused great changes in the lives of people around the world, including causing the closure of religious centers and limitations in performing Hajj rituals, and has created religious doubts for some people. In this article, which is written using a descriptive-analytical method, we seek to answer the question: what role do infectious diseases play in the suspension or limitation of Hajj ceremonies, and what positive and negative consequences does this suspension bring? Based on media reports and the opinions of thinkers and analysts, contagious diseases have caused the weakening of the position of religion and create doubts regarding religious beliefs and convictions for some individuals; however, some other thinkers believe that the outbreak of infectious diseases becomes a factor for a positive approach toward religion and moral matters. We see that after the outbreak of dangerous and infectious diseases (including Corona in current times), many followers of religions raised their hands of need toward God and felt a need for the eternal power of God more than before. On the other hand, this phenomenon caused an awakening from negligence and became a factor for altruism among various segments of the population. The suspension of religious programs, including Hajj, is due to special attention to health matters, and the doubts raised have no scientific basis.
