چکیده:
The issue of Mahdaviyat and the emergence of the Savior as a fundamental principle in Islam has been attended to and examined by many thinkers from different dimensions. This article aims to examine the discussions of Mahdaviyat with an approach based on the works of Allameh Shahid Murtaza Motahhari; he viewed the issue of Mahdaviyat from a historical dimension and, in parts of his works, referred to claimants of Mahdaviyat, including the uprising of Mukhtar and Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah, Nafs al-Zakiyyah, and Mahdi al-Abbasi. In pursuit of claims to Mahdaviyat, some of these movements, such as the 'Hasaniyyah and Abbasids,' engaged in the forgery and distortion of hadiths in the field of Mahdaviyat to attract the masses and legitimize their uprisings. Abbasid actions in this regard are of greater importance due to the compilation of hadith books coinciding with the Abbasid Caliphate; their performance can be examined in three parts: A. Creating a 'Mahdi' through supporting the Mahdaviyat of Muhammad ibn Abdullah pure (Nafs al-Zakiyyah) and the claim of Mahdaviyat by some Abbasid caliphs such as Mahdi al-Abbasi; B. Forgery and distortion of Mahdawi hadiths regarding the lineage and characteristics of Imam Zaman (peace be upon them); C. Misappropriation of Mahdawi hadiths, such as the narrations of the Black Banners (the emergence of black flags).

The Role of Zaidiyyah and Abbasid Caliphs in the Fabrication and Distortion of Mahdaviyat Hadiths with an Approach to the Thought and Works of Allameh Shahid Motahhari Mohammad Taqi Diari Bidgoli 1 Maryam Sadat Sajjadi 2 Abstract: The issue of Mahdaviyat and the emergence of the Savior, as an indisputable principle in Islam, has been considered and examined by many thinkers from various dimensions.
This article aims to examine the discussions of Mahdaviyat with an approach based on the works of Allameh Shahid Murtaza Motahhari; he viewed the issue of Mahdaviyat from a historical dimension and, in part of his works, referred to claimants of Mahdaviyat, including the uprising of Mukhtar and Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah, the Pure Soul (Nafs al-Zakiyyah), and the Abbasid Mahdi.
com Introduction The promises of the Holy Quran and the tidings of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) in the early years of the emergence of Islam, along with the countless narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) regarding Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) as the savior of justice in the world, have always been the focus of the general public in the Islamic community.
Claimants of Mahdaviyat and their followers took advantage of the people's attention to Mahdavi narrations; sometimes they attempted to apply those signs and indicators to the Mahdi of their own choosing, and at other times, they fabricated and distorted hadiths to gain legitimacy.
