The philosophy of the creation of the world and the evils that exist within it has always been one of the questions of philosophers and theologians. Relying on the key elements of the concept of providence—namely knowledge, causality, will, and pleasure—Ibn Sina has attempted to provide a clear picture of the cause of creation and the existence of the system of goodness present in the world. It seems that this explanation is not capable of clarifying all dimensions and ambiguous aspects of the issue or providing a convincing answer to all existing problems. The present article attempts, by relying on the words of Ibn Sina and supplements borrowed from Transcendent Wisdom, to formulate the above issue more clearly and answer the questions surrounding it.
