چکیده:
In the present era, educational systems are facing transformations through modern technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI). This research was conducted with the aim of investigating and comparing the effect of traditional teaching methods and AI-based instruction on the attitude, academic performance, and social interactions of elementary school students. The research approach was quasi-experimental with a pre-test/post-test design and a control group. The statistical population included fourth and fifth-grade students of elementary schools in the city of Mashhad during the 1403-1404 academic year. A sample of 60 individuals (30 in the experimental group and 30 in the control group) was selected using cluster random sampling. The control group received traditional instruction, while the experimental group was taught using AI tools such as adaptive systems, intelligent games, and interactive content. The educational intervention was implemented for 8 weeks, with 4 sessions of 45 minutes each per week. Data collection tools included standardized mathematics and science tests, an academic attitude questionnaire, and a school-based social interaction questionnaire. The validity of the tools was confirmed by experts, and their reliability was verified using Cronbach's alpha. Data were analyzed using independent t-tests, ANCOVA, and descriptive analysis via SPSS version 26. The results showed that the mean scores in mathematics and science subjects in the AI-trained group were significantly higher than in the traditional group (p < 0.05). Additionally, academic attitude in the experimental group was reported to be more positive, particularly in the dimensions of interest, intrinsic motivation, and belief in learning ability. In the social interaction section, the control group had relatively higher scores, indicating the importance of human interaction in traditional classrooms. Qualitative review of feedback also showed that students in the AI group felt a greater sense of independence and self-efficacy. Teachers in the experimental group also expressed satisfaction with faster learning progress and more active student participation. At the same time, challenges such as reduced face-to-face interaction, dependence on technological infrastructure, and the need for specialized teacher training were observed. The research showed that the intelligent and hybrid use of traditional methods and artificial intelligence can lead to a comprehensive improvement in educational quality. It is suggested that educational policymakers develop programs for infrastructure development, teacher training, and the localization of digital content. Furthermore, conducting longitudinal and broader studies to examine the sustainability of AI education effects at different educational levels is essential. This research indicates that future education should be redesigned based on the creative integration of tradition and technology to ensure both academic performance and the social growth of students.

Comparison of the effect of traditional teaching methods and artificial intelligence on the attitude and performance of primary school students at the school and social environment level Seyyed Mojtaba Tabatabaei Asl1.
This research was conducted with the aim of investigating and comparing the effect of traditional teaching methods and AI-based education on the attitude, academic performance, and social interactions of primary school students.
This research shows that future education must be redesigned based on the creative integration of tradition and technology to ensure both the academic performance and social growth of students.
On the other hand, traditional teaching methods, which are based on direct interaction between teacher and student, still play a major role in primary schools.
Traditional methods often lead to the strengthening of human relationships and a sense of responsibility in the classroom environment, whereas artificial intelligence tools may bring about individualism or a reduction in social interactions.
The aim of this article is to conduct a comparative study of traditional teaching methods and artificial intelligence and their impact on the attitude and performance of students at different levels of school and society.
Overall, the findings indicate that artificial intelligence-based instruction has had a positive impact on academic performance, learning attitude, and self-confidence, but in the area of social interaction, the results were mixed and dependent on the design of the educational environment.
Conclusion The aim of this research was to investigate the impact of traditional teaching methods and artificial intelligence-based instruction methods on the attitude, academic performance, and social interactions of elementary school students.
