In today's educational world, teachers' cognitive skills alone are not sufficient to ensure students' academic success. Emotional intelligence, as the ability to perceive, regulate, and manage one's own emotions and those of others, has become one of the effective pillars in improving classroom relationships, creating a safe learning environment, and enhancing academic performance. This article aims to analyze the relationship between the level of teachers' emotional intelligence and students' academic success by examining the role of empathy, self-awareness, self-regulation, and communication skills in educational interactions. The findings show that teachers who possess a high level of emotional intelligence have a greater ability to manage the classroom, reduce conflict, create motivation, and strengthen students' self-esteem; factors that indirectly but strongly influence academic outcomes. This article, emphasizing the importance of emotional intelligence training for teachers, provides practical suggestions for enhancing this psychological capacity in the educational system.
