چکیده:
'Cultural capital' is one of the important dimensions of social inequality that plays a decisive role in shaping access to educational opportunities, social interactions, and the academic success of students. This article was written with the aim of examining the role of the school as a formal educational institution in strengthening the cultural capital of students' families. By expanding interactions between parents and educators, providing informal training to parents, organizing cultural programs, and transferring modern attitudes toward education, the school can be a factor in enhancing cultural awareness, valuing learning, and forming cultural habits within the home environment. Findings from theoretical analysis and field studies show that schools active in the field of family participation lead to an increase in reading at home, enhancement of parents' media literacy, strengthening of collective learning habits, and the formation of a space for dialogue and cultural exchange within families. This article also addresses existing obstacles in this role-playing, including weaknesses in school-family interaction, a one-dimensional view of the school's educational function, and inequality in cultural access in low-resource areas. Finally, suggestions for designing school-based policies aimed at developing family cultural capital are provided.

Cultural capital, school, formal education, family, cultural participation Introduction In social systems, education is one of the most key institutions that plays a multidimensional role in the reproduction, transmission, modification, and enhancement of culture.
Questions such as "Does the school, beyond curricular education, influence families in the cultural sphere?", "What types of programs have led to increased awareness or cultural participation of families?", "What challenges have you faced on the path of cultural communication between school and family?", and "What suggestions do you have for strengthening this cultural role?" were raised in the interviews.
Enhancing parents' educational literacy through training workshops Most principals and teachers reported that holding counseling sessions, parenting education, familiarity with child development stages, effective communication with adolescents, and managing emotions at home has increased parents' understanding of their educational role.
This unique position allows the school to create an effective communication bridge between formal culture (knowledge, art, social values) and family culture (lifestyle, attitudes, educational behaviors).
