Evaluation is considered one of the inseparable elements of every country's educational system. Descriptive evaluation is a form of evaluation whose main goal is to improve the quality of student learning. This research was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method with the aim of investigating the destructive effects of implementing descriptive evaluation on the academic and educational decline of students and the motivation of teachers and students in education. Correct evaluation and awareness of its results allow students to learn how to learn and teachers to learn how and with what method to teach. If correct and appropriate evaluation is not carried out, it will lead to consequences such as decreased interest in students; waste of material and human resources; increased failure rates and grade repetition; disruption in the emotional development of students; loss of creativity, etc.
