چکیده:
Among the techniques of rhetoric, simile has the most frequency in terms of variety and application. The invention of non-repetitive and at the same time imaginative similes has been widely flourished in the Azerbaijani style and has reached its peak in the Iraqi style period. Hakim Nizami Ganjavi has used this technique at its highest level. Unfortunately, due to the fame of Nizami's romantic masnavis, his poems include ghazals, odes, Qata`t and quatrains; It has been less favored and its verbal and semantic beauties have remained unknown. What has been discussed in this article is the analysis of the most important element of the art of rhetoric, that is, the art of analogies in the Nizamies book. The main issue of this research is to answer the question whether the success that Nizami found in his Masnavis can also be seen in his Diwan. For this purpose, all the poems in the Nizamies book were studied and after extracting all the similes in the book, for each of the similes in the art of simile, explanations and examples of the extracted evidence were presented.

Nizami also says in his Divan: تا چو پروانه شوی بر سر این هفت چراغ شمع خورشید به خون تو معنبر گردد (Nizami, 1380: 223) In this verse, "the hidden pronoun (you)" is the mushabbah, "butterfly" is the mushabbah bihi, "as" (chu) is the tool of simile, and the point of resemblance (being a lover and self-sacrificing) is omitted.
