چکیده:
The emergence of the genre of temperament in Iran by Ebrahim Tawfiq, Seyed Mehdi Yousefi, Hesam Turkman and Arash Heydari with good ideas tries to study and categorize the content about the temperament of Iranians from the constitutional period to the years after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the elements and components of a " Extract the "genre" from it. This article has tried to study the book in four axes of form, language, structure and content through the documentary-critical method. The results of this study show that although the authors of the book have collected very extensive and accurate information from various sources and sometimes examined it, they have not been very successful in determining the boundaries of the "genre". Nevertheless, the content of the book is full of useful but scattered data. The authors' opinions on the subject, etc., have been reorganized and made more useful for the audience in this field.

" The authors have attempted, within the thirteen pages of this section, to explain their problem and approach in their analyses; however, despite the fact that the title of the first chapter of the book is "Definitions and Theoretical Discussions" and conceptually the definition of concepts should take place in that chapter, right at the beginning and during the explanation of the problem, in a premature effort, they have addressed the "meaning of temperaments" (Tofigh et al.
An interesting point resulting from this work is the definition of genre as another important keyword in this research, which has been attempted to be formulated based on this same Durkheimian perspective: Genres are procedures for performing the act of writing or speaking that exist outside the speaker, providing binding or pre-existing rules for discussion, and they do not take shape in the mind of the individual, but are rather the result of objective processes of text accumulation (ibid: 16).
" This approach is maintained throughout the book, and the authors essentially consider the kholqiyat-writing genre as a means to recognize the character traits that have led to a lack of progress and the failure of reforms in each period, which is important and worthy of reflection, because this approach is not unrelated to the view of Western orientalists in portraying the image of the East.
