چکیده:
The necessity for the continuity and survival of the revolution is the recognition of the challenges and crises facing it. Failure to recognize and understand these challenges and vulnerabilities leads the revolution toward destruction and dissolution. The Islamic Revolution of Iran, which is built upon the life-giving teachings of Islam, considers attention and commitment to the affairs of Muslims as one of its duties and obligations; due to this religious and revolutionary nature, it stands at the center of conspiracies and malice from enemies, who attempt by any means to inflict damage on the revolution and the Islamic system and confront it with challenges. This set of regional and international challenges and vulnerabilities must be examined within the framework of foreign policy, as most of them have a political aspect and must be viewed from this perspective. Therefore, the main question of this research is: what are the foreign political challenges facing the Islamic Revolution in the thought of Imam Khomeini (RA)? To answer this question, the political thought of the Imam was examined within the framework of Sprignzen's crisis theory. From the perspective of Imam Khomeini, these challenges and vulnerabilities are so destructive that if resistance and steadfastness are not maintained against them, they will result in increased dependency and the backwardness of Muslims. The innovation of this article is the introduction of a dynamic and appropriate theoretical framework for studying political challenges and crises and for a more accurate and better understanding of the political theory of Imam Khomeini and other thinkers. This research, using the documentary analysis method, has collected relevant documents and records.
خلاصه ماشینی:
To this end, the political challenges of the Islamic Revolution in the political thought of Imam Khomeini (RA) are examined based on the framework of Spriggens' crisis theory, which consists of four stages: observation of systemic disorder and crisis, diagnosis of causes, visualization of the ideal society, and providing solutions and treatment for the pain.
«Palestine, which is now at the head of calamities; this lack of unity and the submission of some leaders of Islamic countries, who despite having abundant natural resources, precious reserves, and a population of seven hundred million, have not been able to cut off the hand of colonialism and Zionism from Islamic lands and end the influence of its agents; it is these worldly desires and the puppet-like behavior of some Arab governments that has caused the one hundred million Arab population to be unable to rescue Palestine from the clutches of Israel» (Musawi Khomeini, 2008, Vol. 2: 461).
Scientific-Research Quarterly "Islamic Revolution Research Journal", Year 8, Number 25, Winter 96 Imam Khomeini (RA) considers steadfastness in this principle to be the way of treatment and liberation from dependence and believes: "The durability and stability of the Islamic Republic is based on the neither Eastern nor Western policy, and deviating from this policy will be a betrayal of Islam and Muslims and will cause the decline of the dignity, prestige, and independence of the country and the nation of Iran" (Musawi Khomeini, 2008, Vol. 21: 155).
