چکیده:
In this research, the effects of changes in the energy carrier price index on the labor and capital demand functions of those two-digit ISIC industries in the country that possess the highest levels of output value, added value, fuel consumption value, and employment; namely, food and beverage industries, coke production-oil refineries, chemical materials and products production, basic metals, non-metallic minerals, and motor vehicles trailers and semi-trailers, are investigated using the Murak price decomposition method as well as a dynamic panel econometric model for the provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Hormozgan, and Markazi during the period 1376-1393. The results of the research indicate that capital-intensive industries are more sensitive to changes in the energy carrier price index compared to other studied industries, and also the effects of asymmetry in the reaction of the dependent variable of these industries (to changes in the energy carrier price index) are higher compared to industries that have a labor-intensive nature.

It is necessary to state that the innovative aspect of the present study is that in the following study, an effort is made to identify and compare the sensitivity level of factors affecting the demand for labor and capital, as well as how the aforementioned inputs react to changes in the price index of energy carriers in two-digit ISIC industries with the highest capacity for creating output value for the most industrial provinces of the country, namely Tehran, Khuzestan, Isfahan, Markazi, and Hormozgan.
In the next part, by presenting a dynamic panel econometrics model and performing the necessary tests, we will address the estimation of labor and capital demand functions in the six aforementioned industries, as well as the evaluation of asymmetric effects in the dependent variables relative to changes in the Deventer price index.
