خلاصه ماشینی:
It is evident that there are significant differences between religious proselytizing and proselytizing in the sense of propaganda; propaganda is an activity aimed at changing public thoughts and beliefs by imposing its own desires on the audience through suggestion and indoctrination; therefore, it also means sensationalism, demagoguery, and commotion, and includes consecutive and organized actions that an individual or interested parties perform through suggestion—to monitor the psychological states of groups of people and, consequently, monitor their actions.
Iran's popular revolution, which occurred in the twentieth century through the use of traditional tools and traditional proselytizing methods at the hands of the late Imam and the leadership of the clergy, drew the attention of many communication researchers to the fact that traditional communications still possess extraordinary roles and power in public mobilization, social awakening, awareness-raising, and the transformation of societies; so much so that those involved in politics and communications engaged in new studies in this field.
The bazaar, the mosque, the clergy, the seminaries, religious groups, Tekyehs, Hosseiniyehs, and also circles were the traditional channels of communication that played an important role during the Islamic Revolution in meeting information needs, exchanging information, and making the public aware of the regime's behind-the-scenes policies (ibid: 41).
In religious advertising, one of the most important issues affecting the impact of proselytizing is the manner of the audience's behavior and action, which itself is effective in the audience's acceptance of the message content; Therefore, the messenger in face-to-face proselytizing is considered a model for what has been stated.
