چکیده:
Poets have employed diverse methods to create profound themes and adorn their speech, and linguists and critics have also endeavored to find the causes and mechanisms of these methods and establish rules for them according to their views. One of the methods of adorning speech is the use of syntactic parallel structures (syntactic repetition), which is created with regard to the artistic aspect of language, and various functions can be attributed to it. The repetition of a syntactic pattern is a category related to the form and structure of poetry; therefore, the secret of the beauty and musical richness of many of Khaqani's verses must be sought in the form of his poetry. With unparalleled and amazing mastery in the realm of language and vocabulary, Khaqani has used syntactic parallel structures in a very artistic way and with high frequency to create themes and decorate the manifestations of his speech. It is worth noting that the harmony of many of these methods with the general concept and meaning of the verse is noteworthy. This article aims to examine the functions of syntactic repetition in the Qasa'id of Khaqani from the perspective of beauty-creation and semantics, and to reveal the ways in which they appear; a technique that is considered one of the prominent characteristics of the stylistic features of Khaqani's poetry.

A Reflection on the Aesthetic and Semantic Aspects of Parallel Syntactic Structures in the Qasidas of Khaqani Fatemeh Kolahchian Assistant Professor, Department of Persian Language and Literature, Razi University, Kermanshah Seyyed Mohammad Arta PhD Student in Persian Language and Literature, Razi University, Kermanshah (Received: 2013/07/14; Revised: 2014/08/31) Abstract Poets have employed various methods to create profound themes and adorn their speech, and linguists and critics have also endeavored to identify the mechanisms of these methods and establish rules for them.
Keywords: Parallel syntactic structures, aesthetics, semantic function, Khaqani Introduction Each of the great poets of the Persian language has gained fame for a specific reason; for example, Farrukhi and Saadi for the style of "easy yet unattainable" (sahl o momtane), Anuri in the style of dialogue and beautiful qat'as, Molavi in mystical ghazals and masnavis, Nizami in storytelling and description, Ibn Yamin in qat'a composition, and Khaqani in composing artificial and robust qasidas.
Research Background Despite the great attention of our classical poets to parallel syntactic structures, this device was not well-known to rhetoricians, and in books on rhetoric, including the arts of eloquence and literary industries, the aesthetics of Persian speech by Kazazi, and "A New Look at Rhetoric by Shamisa," it has not received independent and complete attention.
Among the verbal rhetorical devices, muwazanah and irsal al-mathal have the highest frequency in the form of syntactic repetition, to the point that it can be admitted that the creation of these two devices, with the help of parallel syntactic structures, is one of the prominent characteristics of the style of Khaqani's qasidas.
