The organizer of the conference, "Sharif New Technology Analysis Institute," with the participation of ISESCO (Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution (Strategic Studies Center), the Deputy for Artistic Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Center for Future Research in Defense Science and Technology, the Center for Women and Family Affairs of the Presidency, the Secretariat of the Public Culture Council and the cooperation of the Artistic Field of the Islamic Propagation Organization, the General Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Amirkabir University of Technology, the Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran Municipality, the Deputy of Traditional Arts and Handicrafts of the Cultural Heritage Organization, Handicrafts and Tourism, and the Cultural Deputy of Jihad Daneshgahi. "Cultural Industries and Their Role in Economic and Social Development" was also presented by Dr. Naqib al-Sadat, a faculty member of Allameh Tabataba'i University and the scientific secretary of the conference. In the continuation of the conference, Mr. Engineer Rahmati, Director General of the Preservation and Restoration of Traditional Arts and Handicrafts of the Cultural Heritage Organization, referred to handicrafts and tourism as handicraft industries and addressed the position of this industry in economic, social, and defensive development.
