چکیده:
The aim of the present research was to examine the reliability, validity, and norming of the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ) among high school students. The subjects included 1201 male and female students in their first, second, and third years of theoretical fields in the cities of Zanjan province during the 1358-1359 academic year, who were selected using a multi-stage cluster sampling method from the statistical population. Measuring the reliability of the questionnaire through retesting with a 4-week interval yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.87, which was significant at the 0.100 level. Cronbach's alpha for the total OHQ index was 0.48 in the testing phase and 0.78 in the retesting phase, which are desirable measures. Several methods were used to evaluate the validity of the questionnaire. To estimate content validity, the questionnaire was presented to several psychology experts who confirmed the ability of the OHQ to measure happiness. The total OHQ index showed a high correlation with each of the 5 factors (A, O, E, N, and C) of the NEO personality test. Additionally, factor analysis resulted in the extraction of 7 factors from the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire, which explain 0.33 of the variance of the questions. Furthermore, second-order factor analysis yielded the result that the OHQ can be considered as a unidimensional construct for measuring the level of happiness.

Keywords: Validity; Reliability; Normalization; Oxford Happiness Questionnaire; Student (refer to the page image) During the past century, the primary attention of most psychologists and researchers has been focused on aspects of human unhappiness (such as depression and anxiety), and the positive dimension of human potential has been neglected.
Also, positive correlations were obtained between this questionnaire and the Life Orientation Test1, Life Attention Index2, Self-Esteem Test3, and Life Satisfaction Scale4, which indicates that the construct validity of this questionnaire is at a high level (Hills and Argyle, 2002).
2- NEO Personality Inventory-Revised (NEO-PI-R): In the present study, to obtain the construct validity of the Oxford questionnaire, the calculation of correlation with the NEO Five-Factor Personality Test was used.
Table A Mean and standard deviation, Cronbach's alpha, and the correlation coefficient between the test and retest of the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (Refer to the page image) The results of Table 1 indicate that the happiness scores of students in the two stages of implementation have a high correlation with each other; therefore, we can say that the administration of the OHQ with a one-month interval yields reliable and dependable results.
Table 2 Correlation coefficients of the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire with the 5-factor personality questionnaire (Refer to the page image) Explanation: N - Neuroticism, E - Extraversion, O - Openness to experience, A - Agreeableness, and C - Conscientiousness 062- N260 Data from Table 2 indicate a correlation between the total happiness index and the NEO factors at statistically significant levels.
