A Reflection on Khaghani's "Nim-Adami" Ramin Sadeghinejad* The late Dr. Seyyed Zia al-Din Sajjadi, in his two-volume book "Dictionary of Vocabulary and Compounds with Explanation of Proper Names and Difficulties of the Divan of Khaghani," has stated under the compound "Nim-Adami": "The child of Adam, half of mankind, half of every individual among humans; a metaphor for an absolute woman because two women are considered equivalent to one man in testimony, and in the Divan of Khaghani, it is a metaphor for Khaghani's mother.
However, to clarify whether the compound "Nim-Adami" in Khaghani's Divan is truly a metaphor for the poet's mother or not, the explanation and clarification of the following points are necessary: A) Determining the approximate date of composition of the qasida containing the compound "Nim-Adami.

4) And finally, comparing the closing verses of this fragment and the qasida leaves no doubt that Khaghani's "half a man" can be none other than "Abd al-Majid," the helpless and disabled son of the poet.
