In this chapter, the author attempts, through a brief and sometimes cursory examination of the most important issues and discussions regarding the necessity and process of land reform in the world and Iran, to address some questions surrounding Dr. Arsanjani's role in the land reform movement and his subsequent resignation from the ministry, aiming to explain in a way the failures, setbacks, and the subsequent transformation of this movement.
