چکیده:
The discussion of happiness, which began in Greek philosophical topics, was pursued in Islamic philosophy. The nature of happiness is considered a combination of cognitive dimensions and emotional experience, which is adaptable to modern definitions in psychology of happiness. Paying attention to two levels of happiness—emotional happiness and spiritual happiness—with the two terms 'farah' and 'bahjat' in the discussions of Ibn Sina and the connection between happiness and spirituality, is one of the epistemological achievements of Islamic philosophy. In the discussions of positive psychology and sects such as lamaism, the connection between happiness and the purposefulness and meaningfulness of life has become so tight that happiness is introduced as the goal of life for all humans and the main component of meaningfulness; however, in a deeper analysis, it becomes clear that happiness is the effect of purposefulness and not its cause, and it can only be involved in the meaningfulness of life when it is linked with spirituality and higher perfectionist goals, and becomes the focus of attention as the result and fruit of this connection. The discussions of the goal-oriented approach to happiness only provide a formalism of happiness and have placed its teleological dimension without regard to the axiological realm at the center of attention.
خلاصه ماشینی:
In the following, we refer to various instances of these ideas, some with a psychological approach and some with religious or philosophical approaches have been presented; although in terms of goal-oriented joy and giving it meaning, they are close and related to each other: A) Psychological approach (Positive Psychology) Following humanistic psychology, which pursued the spiritual needs of human existence in growth and self-actualization, positive psychology emerged, which selected and highlighted positive human experiences and emotions to achieve a better life: In recent decades, positive psychologists have emphasized human abilities, competencies, and assets, believing that the goal of psychology should be to improve and enhance the quality of human life and to blossom the talents and abilities entrusted within humans.
Thus, the focus of the positive psychology magnifying glass on the cognitive dimension of happiness has caused concepts such as life satisfaction, happiness, and bliss to become prominent alongside the concept of joy; in such a way that the feeling of life satisfaction, in a person's overall evaluation of their life, is equivalent to happiness and bliss is taken, or the satisfaction of inner needs and reaching the desirable desires suitable for a person's nature will lead to happiness and meaningfulness of life.
It seems that in designing the goal-setting of happiness for human life, Thomas Nagel has focused on the emotional and affective dimension of happiness to prepare a means for the human soul from the intoxication of that negligence, while Lamaism and positive psychology have emphasized the cognitive dimension of happiness to obtain the element of meaningfulness.
