چکیده:
'Havieh' is the first collection of short stories by Abu Torab Khosravi. To understand the author's style and analyze the stories, I analyzed the deep structure of the stories using Todorov's structuralist method after extracting the sequences. The deep structure of this collection is based on the struggle against time and its manifestations. An investigation of the narrative structures shows that the author consciously seeks to reflect the deep structure in the style and structure of the narratives and to create as much correspondence as possible between the narrative and the deep structure; in simple and single-axis narratives where the combination of sequences forms chains, the author reflects the deep structure of the struggle against time through other elements such as creating form and suspense, and in cases where the combination of sequences is periodic, he aligns the aforementioned deep structure by creating a sense of distance. Only the story 'The Last Havieh' has a multi-axial narrative, where a single narrative is repeated in several forms so that through this repetition, the deep structure of confronting time continues for the purpose of overthrowing or invalidating it.

The connection between the structure of narratives and the deep structure The narration of the story "Lost" is monocentric and simple, and the type of its event composition is chain-like.
The deep structure of this story is the confrontation with time in order to overthrow or invalidate it; the thought of confronting time and struggling against the horror of history has existed in ancient rituals and civilizations and has continued its life in various forms.
We have categorized the author's methods for expanding the deep structure of the struggle against time in the Abyss collection, taking into account the themes and motifs of identity and non-identity, death and re-creation, and love and life.
Eliade, considering the eternal repetition of the act of creation in Nowruz, says that this eternal repetition makes the return of the dead to life possible, and in the mythical moment of the beginning of the new year, when the world is destroyed and created anew, the possibility of overturning time arises.
The deep structure of overthrowing time in these stories is based on contradictory elements, objects, or events that, while creating non-existence, manifest a method or tool for re-creation or continuity.
