خلاصه ماشینی:
Shihab al-Din Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Khafaji, who has written a detailed marginalia on Anwar al-Tanzil, says at the beginning of his book: Among the interpretations, Baydawi's tafsir holds a high position.
The field Research and reasoning in Anwar al-Tanzil is not extensive; however, throughout the tafsir and when explaining and interpreting creedal verses, Baydawi has engaged in intellectual thought and has beautifully resolved some dilemmas through rationalization.
17 In the commentary on verse 29 of Surah Sad: کتاب أنزلنا إلیک مبارک لیدبروا آیاته و لیتذکر اولوالالباب, he says: Meaning: They should reflect upon its verses so that, in addition to their apparent meanings, through correct interpretations (ta'wil), they may reach the unseen aspects, meanings, and concepts that can be understood through intellectual thought and scrutiny; thus, those with sound intellects may take lessons from its exhortations and become acquainted with the treasures of intellects through the guidance of prophets; for divine books are either an explanation of truths that cannot be reached except through the path of Sharia, or a guidance to that which reason is independent in discovering.
Sources and References of Anwar al-Tanzil Baydawi does not mention his sources in the pages of interpretation and in the presentation of content (as was often the method of predecessors); however, bibliographers and biographers have considered his interpretation to be an abridgment of Zamakhshari's al-Kashshaf, with a view toward al-Tafsir al-Kabir, etc.
